Yep, I installed VISTA and pretty much got owned...... anyone have any luck with a beta or other variant let me know... otherwise PWNT
Reformat your drive. Install Windows XP. Problem solved. I don't see why you feel the need to upgrade to Vista when it's just the opposite-you don't need to!

I have received both a vista home premium and a vista ultimate disc from work (official disks with official serials, not bootlegs). I have to say it is pretty nice not having to install drivers after a reinstall. The nvidia driver was the only one I had to manually install. Now that right there already makes it worth it for me. Also most of the reasons why people say it sucks, have either been worked out or are close to being worked out or have nothing to actually do with the os itself. From just messing around with vista, it seems like microsoft has tried to make everything a little less complicated for people. What f*cking sucks about that?
Edit: I am typing this on my media center pc. Which has vista on it. I am using firefox to access this website. I have also been playing games on it and doing sh*t that I would have done on a regular basis with windows xp. I have yet to find a program I needed that didn't work.
