Hey whats up. Recently while playing in BoSS servers and i noticed that my rate is always extremely low and idk why. Is it always really low in BoSS servers?

Okay, open the console by hitting ~.
If this doesn't bring up your console, then you have to go to the options, advanced, and enable developers console.
Anyways, open the console and type the following:
rate 25000
cl_cmdrate 66
cl_updaterate 66

andyouarewho f*ck you for that last command. The purpose of this thread is to inform people of the correct rates for the benefit of everyone on the server. If newer players are going through the effort to optimize their rates you shouldn't confuse them with a bullsh*t autokill bind that they may not know about. Real cool.

Bleh, I think the server should automatically adjust players rates to 30000 100 100 upon entering.. I get tired of dealing with assholes that like to set it low or just change cmd to their advantage.

why not? its such a pain in the ass to get a freakin noob to change his rates from like 50 to 25000... goin through all the yelling and slaying then kicking then banning if hes being a douche with his "idk wtf ur talkin about excuse"

some people really DON't know what your talking about . hell lots of people dont even know what the console is, so a little forgiveness might be a good thing.
