so whats the general opinion around here? i think its looking good, specially with the hdcp and the hdmi compatibility. Post your fav reviews if you like.

idk i might even buy it. Depends on the sound aspect of it, if anyone could link to anything that talks more about this it would be apreciated.

looks sexy, beats out the 8800gtx in gaming, but I think i'll wait for the gddr4 to come out before dropping my life savings on a graphics card.

Yeah, it only compares to the gts...

If it was between the gts and the hd2900, id probably go with the hd2900, but 8800gtx is the way to go

it beats some of the games at very high res due to its large bandwidth amount, but aside from that they really need to release the GDDR4 version with more ram...

The G80 nVidia 8800GTX card was faster in 3DMark06 benchmark than ATI Radeon HD2900XT, but ATI R600 Radeon HD2900XT outperformed on Crysis Demo Game test then from nVidia 8800GTX.
As usually, Looks like ATI always the best on Gaming performance then nVidia. This make the homework for nVidia to make more Gaming performance on nVidia card.

Beats out the 8800GTX? Doesnt even beat the GTS, and its 7 months late. Thats it, I'm done. You wont hear any more from me on this subject.

yea i got no clue were you got that from sniperwolf but it doesnt make sense to price a card $400 that beats a $600 card? it doesnt beat the 8800GTX, but it is in the price range of the 8800GTS and it competes well, ATI just needs to release the official drivers(these were all run on beta drivers i think)

It doesent compare too GTX .. and beats the GTS in some games... but needs better drivers!
