i never liked mario after the super nes ordeal
123 and 4 were ok i kinda liked the mario rpg but tas for all the new ones man they suck

Mario RPG was purely awesome. In fact about a month ago I downloaded it and played through the whole thing again.

I did like Super Mario 64... Since then though the pure Mario games have been crap. I hear they are making a real Mario game for the Wii though, so I'm kind anxious to see how it turns out.

They'll toss Roy way before they get rid of Marth. I don't think you have anything to worry about. Marth got a large fan base with Melee, too large to just get tossed aside. However Roy was just a clone character of Marth, and was in Melee as a promotion for the upcoming Fire Emblem game in Japan. I think it's definitely safe to say that Roy would get axed before Marth would.
