but its still a smaler market than when VHS came out. That was the only way at that time. Now i would argue that more is watched threw the internet that threw dvd's or w/e. The impact is gona be less.

People will still buy porn. Imagine "24 hard f*cking hours" of porn on one disc. Who wouldn't buy that. I agree with you about it will make less of an impact, but its still a huge impact. Mainly because the 20-30 year olds that were buying porn during the last format wars are the same 40-50 year olds that will be buying it now. Most older people don't want to deal with download and such. There are other factors involved also. Like sony not wanting to support porn on blue ray at first. I don't even know if they haven even started helping companies mass produce porn yet. HD-DVD on the other hand has.

Wtf, bullsh*t?. I know you don't need the extras, but if you are going to get it why not go with a ps3? You're basically getting a lot more stuff than what you're paying for.

The Wii and Xbox 360 has swallowed the PS3. The games and graphics for xbox rock and everyone likes the wii's "action" (except for the fat game nerds). The PS3 has a high price, the good games like Haze might gain it's popularity but most of those games will just go on PC and the Xbox 360. In that case, whats the point of the PS3? Blueray?

I say if you have the money, and want the most future proof console, go with the ps3. I know ps3 is lagging behind badly, but if you're like me and want the high-def stuff, ps3 is the way to go.

Lol shadow, the Wii is absolutely revolutionary. Instead of the eye candy that the xbox and ps3 and having a go at, Wii's got its fun factor. But for me, and a lot of other people, eye candy and looks > wii's "action."
