I agree with Nova, I mean really, you can't spend a few more seconds to make yourself sound a little more smart or even slightly literate?

I think you should stop yelling at people for the way they type and spell until you're able to correctly punctuate. They don't write right, and neither do you. =)

I feel your pain, Nova. I use pretty good grammar even when I'm drunk. I'm not drunk now, but I was last night.

I annoy the hell out of people on AIM because I write in complete sentences. :weee:

The only time I believe it matters is in unban posts

Example: wtf, like i got slayd by a admin what a dick I was office. I totaly Pwnzor'd him and he was like "your gay" then slayed and banned me.

. . . . above would piss me off to have to read it and I probably would not really care about the person much.

Dude, Nova, don't get so worked up over it... I didn't think that a discussion over grammar would get up to two pages.

I agree that it can make you look a little more intelligent but it doesn't really bother me if someone says "your" when they mean "you're" or vice versa. This is the internets after all.

It's not that hard, and using correct grammar and punctuation in forums, chats, or messengers is good practice for when one has to actually communicated in life. Be it for papers, important e-mails, or even just writing legibly; it's nice when you don't have to decode the message.

I've never had to "write" anything that important at work. Proper English is a waste on the interweb.

I say we should all write in wingdings.

Let the Innernet be free man! Don't tread on me!! Just you know, chillllllllll, people will be dumb, whether on the internet or off. So, whatever. you can't change humanity!

And it's pointless to get upset about it, unless you wanna live life all angry because people say YOUR instead of YOU'RE!!!! Geeebus! It's your life man, and i salute your pet peeves as much as the next guy, but don't be an ignorant yourself. Just, kinda let it roll. :perk:

PEACE!
