I think I saw an earlier version of that (or just the base technology of it) from a video of one of those tech. expos. Probably from last year. Looks nice.

Gates has been working on this for years now. I think he first showed it way back in 2001. It's like his pet project.

Also, I think it's a great concept.

I dunno but I think they are just selling it to corporate clients at first like T-mobile. (as mentioned in the article) I'm sure it will cost a sh*t ton when it is marketed to general consumers though.

Actually that looks really cool. There are a lot of possibilities that could bring about. Like a simple one is board games. Have like a monoply touch game where the banker doesn't actually steal money from the bank and I am sure there would be nifty animations.

Well it probably detects 1 of 2 things:

1. A cold, hard, circular object

2.Condensation

You think Wendy's will use this to order food instead of the Asians that currently work there?
Seems like this WOULD be the next big thing for a home PC, but for gaming or doing any real photo editing it won't fly. How expensive is this going to be? (minimum even)

I think it would rule for photo editing, Haven. Especially if you could use a tablet style pen.
