i have a usb mic that i used to use with my playstation2...but whenever i use it in css it seems ackward because by default you have to hold down "k" to talk
it seems to me that if i use "k" to talk i am going to have to stop moving and/or stop aiming

so my question is what do you guys have mic talk set too?

Mouse button 3, that's the button when you press down your scroll wheel.

Mighty fine choice, you can still shoot+move.

SuHh, unless you are very used to your controls and they work well for you I'd say the WASD keys for movment are best so that you can leave your mouse for firing / scope, silencer.

Also, is your config the default on quake 1? I remember using WASD for movement since duke nukem 3d but I guess i could have changed the settings. BTW duke 3d was the pwn.

default on q3 arena was sdf right click movement

but yea i mite try to switch to wasd movement sometime soon... but im makin a lot of adjustments already which is messin up my play

- changed resolution (i forgot to)
- changed crosshair scale (from 5000 to 2500)

the crosshair is really messin with me cuz since i changed the resolution... the 5000 is too small for me to see

I actually use capslock to talk in game. I use my ring finger and can still move and shoot at the same time. Personal prefrence though
