all sounds good to me, the only thing is if live draft will be convenient for others. being an offline draft we'd be able to pick our players when we have time, seeing we live in different time zones and or countries. but thanks for the input surreal

well looks like were looking at a head-to-head draft andn a live one. i myself was thinking head-to-head but offline, because it seems to me like it would be hard to have one online unless we did it at like 1 in the morning because people working if they do or depending if we can set a def. date. but if its a live draft everyone wants then thats what they'll get. and spread the word about us having a fantasy football league for BoSS members maybe we can get a few league's going.

well we really need to focus on getting enough people at the moment, but i guess you can change the date in which to have your live draft. we have until like sept. 4th to have our live draft but i guess for the moment i'll set it up for like august 11th at like 11 or something. just need feedback from everyone about it.

WR
3. Mike Furrey

Anyways, I'm definitely down for head-to-head and live draft. If we get 8-10 people, I think we should be able to find a night sometime around midnight where we can all login and draft.

He was second int he league last year with 98 receptions. That's all based on a repeat performance.

DUDE GUYS NFL.COM!!!!!!! You guys talk about yahoo.com, and espn.com, but they are not nearly as good as nfl.com, and are alot easier. Come on guys wouldn't you think that the NFL's official website just might have the best fantasy football. I mean havn't you guys tried it? If you have and don't like it, tell me what you don't like about it. But it's free, it's head to head, it has everything, and I can set up a league with a password so only we can play. It's 10 people per league, so we need atleast 10 people, but this looks like a hot topic, so it shouldn't be that hard. I played fantasy on the other sites and I didnt like them as much, and I'm only going to play on NFL.com.

And JUSTIN SANE I disagree with alot of the things you had as far as your top people. First Todd Heap is one of my fav. player. He has had a bad offense when he came into the league, but that hasn't stoped him from producing some of the best stats in the league. How can you say that Ben Watson is going to be better then him! I've had Ben Watson the last 2 seasons and even though he's talented, he has had average stats as far TE's go. Besides the Ravens are going to have a running game next year, and will prolly have the best offense they ever had in their franchise history next year. Here I'll just give you the stats from the past 3 years.

Ben Watson
Year Team G GS Rec Yds Avg Lg TD 20+ 40+ 1st
2004 New England Patriots 1 1 2 16 8.0 14 0 0 0 1
2005 New England Patriots 15 9 29 441 15.2 35 4 10 0 22
2006 New England Patriots 13 13 49 643 13.1 40 3 10 2 32

Todd Heap
Year Team G GS Rec Yds Avg Lg TD 20+ 40+ 1st
2004 Baltimore Ravens 6 5 27 303 11.2 37 3 4 0 17
2005 Baltimore Ravens 16 16 75 855 11.4 48 7 12 1 43
2006 Baltimore Ravens 16 16 73 765 10.5 30 6 7 0 40

As far as Donte Stallworth, he's a beast, but he's on a stacked offense. Since Tom Brady is going to be spreading the ball around he will have a good season, but not a top 5 season. And are you kidding me, Mike Furrey? He's not even the best fantasy guy on his team! Roy Willams dude, and with Calvin Johnson in the mix now he's not going to have another season like he did last year. And how can you say Torry and Marvin have lost their step! Harrison had 1366 yards and 12 tds and Holt had 1188 yards and 10 tds. But for some reason your saying that all of a sudden they are going to suck starting next year. And I'm not sure if you were just commenting on the Defenses or if you were critisizing them but you picked the same ones I did, just a little variation as far as slots. Thomas Jones is old, he is a top 10, but not top 5. Rudi Johnson and Willie Parker are much better. Rudi had 2x as many tds then Jones and Parker had more then 2x as many tds, and both had more rushing yards and receiving yards. The stats don't lie dude. All the people I have talked about have been consistantly the best players in the NFL, but you talk of about people, who have either never had a top 5 season or had one good season last year. Tell me dude, how much success have you had in Fantasy Football, and don't tell me that you do really good, because if that's true, I don't want to play on whatever website you play on where Mike Furrey, Ben Watson, and Thomas Jones are Fantasy Kings.

Understand that this season, Ben Watson will be the man at TE for the Patriots. Daniel Graham is gone (best blocking TE in the league, btw) and it gives way to Watson having a break out season at TE. As for Heap, Heap is a great player who puts up some good numbers. But who is throwing the ball to him this year? A year older Steve McNair, again. I can't trust ANYONE on an offensive team run by a cripple who keeps getting older. On top of that, if they're serious about Willis McGahee, they'll become a Steelers-like team with a Rush First attitude. I expect Heap's numbers to drop off.

You guys are all crazy on the Mike Furrey thing. He had 98 receptions last year, second in the league. More than Roy Williams. He had more TDs than Roy too. Calvin Johnson will be the 3rd stringer this year behind Furrey and Williams. Yeah, I'm taking a slight leap here saying that Furrey will have another great season, but it appears he will.

Marvin and Tory both lost a step late last season. I know their numbers look good, but I watched those games and both guys were tailing off towards the end. And with Reggie Wayne stepping up in Indy, I wouldn't doubt if he has better numbers than Harrison this season.

Rudi Johnson will not put up better numbers than Thomas Jones. Neither will Willie Parker. The Bengals offense relies on passing, not running. They have Johnson and Whosyourmomma for a reason. And Pittsburgh's offense is in the decline. Roethlisberger can only take it so far without any receivers or o-line. Jones on the other hand will be the man on offense for the Jets, who have a better offensive line than the Steelers.

Remember though, this is early July after all. Come mid August, we'll know better about the teams and how they're gonna shake out.

Alright well I'm not going to bother changing you opinion on who think is going to be good next year, but here are the FACTS.
You are WRONG about Mike Furrey having more TD's then Roy Williams. Mike Furrey did not have more TD's then Roy Williams. Furrey had 6 receiving and 0 rushing tds. Williams had 7 receiving and 2 rushing tds last year. So you are WRONG.
And you make fun of McNair, but people are not getting younger, and John kitna isn't exactly in the prime of his career. I know he threw for a lot of yards last year, but I would take the Ravens Offense over the Lions anyday. Last year the ravens had a better scoring, rushing, turnover margin and overall offense. The one category Detroit beat them at was passing, which doesn't surprise me cause Kitna passed for 4000 yards because Kevin Jones was out and they had the WORST rushing offense.
I know that Holt and Harrison are losing it a bit, but they are still top 5 draft picks. And by the way, Holt and Harrison at 80-85% are still better then most of the people in the NFL at 100%. And I know Reggie Wayne is good, I've had him every year, and he's in my top 7.
In all the games I've watched and all the articles I have read, I have never heard that Daniel Graham was the best blocking TE in the league. And who cares even if he is a good blocker, you don't get fantasy points for that.
And you can go ahead and draft Thomas Jones, I'll stick with Rudi and Fast Willie. The Bengals could have the best passing offense, and Rudi will still produce more then Jones, cause hes BETTER. And I hate the Steelers so I don't even care about them but for arguments sake, the Steelers and Big Ben had one of the worst seasons I ever seen and Willie was outstanding, so whatever.

Heres how the scoring works on NFL.com in case you guys were interested.

Scoring

7. Point Values
Each week your team will compete against thousands of others. Each team will accumulate points based on the statistics accumulated by the players on each team. The chart below lists the point values.

Offensive Statistic QB, WR, RB, TE, K
Touchdown 6 points
Passing Yards 1 point for every 25 yards
Rushing Yards 1 point for every 10 yards
Receiving Yards 1 point for every 10 yards
2 point conversion 2 points
Interception -2 points
Fumble Lost -2 points
Field Goal 0-49 yards = 3 points
50+ yards = 5 points
Extra Point 1 point

Defensive Statistic Defense
Touchdown 6 points
Safety 2 points
Interception 2 points
Fumble Recovery 2 points
Sack 1 point
Points Allowed 0-6 = 8 points
7-13 = 6 points
14-20 = 4 points
21-27 = 2 points
28+ = 0 points
Yards Allowed 0-49 = 12 points
50-99 = 10 points
100-149 = 8 points
150-199 = 6 points
200-249 = 4 points
250-299 = 2 points
300+ = 0 points

*** NOTES ***
Offensive Scoring (QB, RB, WR, TE) Scoring will be calculated according to the following example: If a QB throws for 200 yards, 2 TDs - rushes for 20 yards, 1 TD - and has 25 yards receiving, his point total for the week would be: 3 TDs = 18 points, 200yds Passing = 8 points, 20yds Rushing = 2 points, 25yds receiving = 2 points; or 30 total points for the week. Please note that, if you have an active QB and an active WR who play for the same NFL team, and your QB throws a touchdown pass to your WR, then you are credited with two touchdowns on the play and you receive 6 points for each touchdown (12 points total). Also, players on your active roster at an offensive position cannot receive individual offensive points for your team when they are on special teams.

Defensive / Special Team scores (TDs, Fumble Recoveries, INTs, Safties or Sacks) Your defense is awarded points when any one of its members generates either a TD, INT, fumble recovery, safety or sack. Your defense also is awarded points for a kickoff or punt return that results in a TD. For instance, if your active defense is the Jets, and Santana Moss returns a punt for a TD, your defense (the Jets) gets 6 points. But in that same situation, a team using Moss as an active WR would NOT be awarded 6 points for the touchdown.

Fumbles Lost by an active player on your roster playing offense, special teams or defense will lose 2 points if they turn the ball over to the opposing team at any time during the game. For instance, if you have Santana Moss active at WR and he fumbles the ball away at any time while he is on the field your team will lose 2 points. This includes a fumble lost while returning a kick, punt, interception (if your WR were playing defense) or obviously while on offense at WR.
Defensive Points Allowed will take into account ALL the points allowed by the team as a whole. Be aware this includes points scored against the offense (TD from an interception, safeties, etc.) and special teams (punt return for a TD) as well as those scored against the defense.
Defensive Touchdowns are any touchdowns scored by the defensive team. This includes fumble returns and interception returns.
Special Teams Touchdowns are touchdowns scored by punt returns, kickoff returns or returns of a blocked Field Goal kick or punt.
To calculate the Total Yards Allowed, simply add the other team's Total Rushing and Total Passing Yards gained.
Rounding will NOT be used when calculating points from statistics. For example 49 yards rushing will result in 4 points.
8. Tie Breakers
At the end of each week's games the team with the most overall points (across all team affiliations) wins the weekly prize. In case there is a tie for the weekly prize, the team with the most points for the season thus far wins the weekly prize. If there is still a tie, the current week's points by position in the following order will be used to break the tie - Quarterback, Running Backs, Wide Receivers, Tight End, Kicker, Defensive Team.

Although it isn't necessary to participate each week, it is strongly encouraged since the team with the most points over the course of the season (across all team affiliations) wins the grand prize. In case there is a tie for the grand prize, the team that won the most weekly prizes is the winner. If there is still a tie, yearly points by position in the same order as described above will break the tie.

And as far as Lineup goes you are allowed 1 Starting QB, 2 Starting RB's, 2 Starting WR's, 1 Starting TE, 1 Starting K, and 1 Starting D/ST. As far as depth goes you can have whatever number of people at each slot but you are only allowed 14 total people (starting and benched).
