So, I decided to pull my SNES out of storage and get back into some of my old games. Super Mario World and All-Stars, Super Mario RPG, Chrono Trigger, Turtles in Time, Aladdin, Kirby, Donkey Kong Country 1 and 2, Batman. You just cant beat the classics. I'm tryin to get a hold of FF3, Super Metroid, and Earthbound. I know I can emulate them, and I have in the past, but its just not the same without the original cartridge. I also got my NES back out and have been playing the sh*t outta all 3 mario games, duck hunt, excite bike, zelda, and some really obscure platformers when the console decides to work. 20 some year old system + semi-broken pin connector = epic phail.

What are some old school SNES or NES games I should look into playing? Xiertic? Anyone?

Hell, lets make this into a discussion, what are your fav old school games on any of the PSX and older systems?

Masterbate Mandraque.

I agree with Shlonky. There is this other game where you are a unicycle, and you have to speed across these trippy zones. That was fun.

That game is Uniracers. Also an awesome game. Yeah, I know Super Mario Kart pwns, when I was a kid that was the only game I ever played when I went over to my friend's house. Well, that and F-Zero. I might get Mario Kart but it's a lot more fun multiplayer than singleplayer lol.

---SNES---
Final Fantasy VI
Final Fantasy IV
Chrono Trigger
Earthworm Jim (Evil The Cat is just too God damn awesome.)
Secret of Evermore
Original Sim City baby!
Kirby's Dream Course
Super Mario World
Donky Kong Country
E.V.O. The Search For Eden (Awesome game. Start out as a tiny little fish if I remember right, eat other fish to grow/evolve sort of game. End up as a land animal and sh*t, continue to grow etc.. Very addictive.)
Mega Man X

---NES---
Dragon Warrior
Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse
Shadowgate (Hard f*cking game!)
Monster Party
Mario 3, 2, and 1.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Also hard as Hell.)

I can't think of much else off the top of my head... If something comes to mind I'll throw it up here later though.. ((EDIT: Obviously I can think of a million other games, these are just my personal favorites of 'em all.))

And you know, it may be blasphemy but I didn't and still don't like the original Mario Kart at all. -hides- Someone mentioned Uniracers.. LOL I remember that game. I used to get so God damn frustrated with it. And Zombies Ate My Neighbors is fun sh*t, just a tad repetitive for me.
