I've been using this chill mat for about a week now and it hasn't let me down yet.
if you have a crappy ass laptop like me. get this fan. 30 bucks.
My laptop CPU temp was at (an average) 55'C
Using Fan Control 50 (sometimes)
Using Cooling Pad [Fan Off] (45'C)
Using Cooling Pad and Fan control (35-40'C)
The laptop that I am currently using right now is an Inspiron | 600m [Dell]
I fixed this peace of junk up a while ago. I can play HL2(+ mods) on it with no lag but
what ended up happening is every 20-30 minutes the fps would go down to about
5. Well i did some research and found out that it's the manly the 600m model,
Apparently the design for the 600m is f*cked up completely.
Do i recommend this laptop?
b*tch HELL NAW.
Bottom line is that this Cooling pad works very well.
Highly recommended for people who don't want to spend a ton and want something small.

I used to sell these things at Best Buy and the question I never had an answer to is the noise level. Is this thing loud?
And what's the battery consumption like?

Noise level is perfect. 25dBA
Spec's here:
Dimensions: 9 x 11.75 x .8 inches (22.9 x 29.8 x 2 cm)
Weight: 15 Ounces (425 g)
Operating Voltage DC 5 V
Operating Current 21 mA
Airflow: 28 CFM
Speed: 1500RPM
Noise: 25dBA
PC Power Via USB: 5 V, 500 mA
Power: .9W
I haven't tested how much of the juice it sucks up yet. I'll do that some time soon.
