Seriously, if it can run CS:S, then I can do anything else on it, and right now the laptop I am currently typing on, is a peice of sh*t! I have my own useraccount on Steam, but i can't f*cking play anything because it won't run. So, that is my reason Numero uno why i getting a new one!
So, suggestions are greatly appricated!

Thats actually not a bad deal. Just grab some more ram on your own(its mad cheap these days) and either use your own copy of XP or pay the $35 more for it and thats a pretty sweet lappy
If the link dosent work thats the NP2090

Except for one, but that was due to user negligence. Handled it very well, Asus' had a extremely quick turnaround, they pay for next day air when they return your laptop from warranty.
But if you are going the intense gaming route, which i highly advise against in a laptop I would look at the sager series or dell's XPS line. If you want portability, a nice shuttle PC with a decent sized LCD is very easy to tote around. Also get more bang for your buck, and will have upgradeability on it's side.

That being said, I don't think more RAM will solve your problems. It's just not worth the headache trying to play CS on an old laptop, once you've gotten a RAM upgrade you'll realize you need a new graphics card, and then something else after that.

Dosent the T20 have a P3 in it? Thats a piece of garbage and i wouldnt even think about playing cs on it. Its prob a good web/porn broweser/office machine though, but gaming hell no.
I'll remember that next time I want to browse for porn.
I know laptops generally suck ass, but i have no choice, i need something portible, i can't carry around a desktop everywhere i go.
The T20 sucks, this I already knew and I know RAM doesn't cure everything, but either an easy fix, or a new laptop is all I can afford. And, looking as these laptops you guys are dishing out to me are all over 1K, i don't know when I'll be able to afford those, and i'm wanting to play CS as soon as possible.
Things aren't looking good are they?

Thats how things are with laptops, can dish out a cheap 700$ one, and you will find yourself extremely limited. Gaming on a laptop shouldnt be looked at unless you are willing to spend a grand or more for expandibility down the road. Let's look at things literally here, you wont be playing counter-strike for the entire time of owning the laptop. If you want portability, keep the existing one you have, and keep a gaming desktop at home. I know it's not the most convenient solution, but it looks like you want to save money, and going to a desktop for gaming is the best way to achieve your goal of bang for buck.

That seems to be the what i need to do. *crys* I won't be getting on Counterstrike any time soon then, because my desktop is in storage, and is very outdated anyway. Hopefully tho, i Can get one soon..... *pouts*
