My aunt was born three months early with Cerebral Palsy. She lives in an assisted living home in downtown Toronto and works hard for equal rights for the "handicapable".

She loves to show me off whenever I go visit. Some of the most awkward experiences ever, because you want to make eye contact, but you don't want to make it seem like you're staring. There are also times when you just don't want to look. Some of the conversations are like speaking code, or I use the good old fashioned nod and smile. Shy girls are apparently endearing.

I used to help out with their fundraisers every summer. I'm abnormally good at putting from a wheelchair.
Won myself a free putter, three years in a row.
