I saw this twice (because it was that awesome, Stefanie and I called all our friends and invited them to the movie the second time around) at the local indie theatre. It's an anime, but beautifully done. The art is a combination of hand drawn and computer animation, sometimes looking like live action. It's by the same guys who made Tokyo Godfathers.

The plot is around a machine which allows the doctors to enter a subjects dream to watch, interpret, and guide. It is new technology and is still in development. A terrorist steals three of the machines, and starts doing subconscious warfare on first those who have worked on the project, then on the whole fabric of reality and dreams. It's a commentary on social culture and science, while also a love story, a psychological thriller, comedy, and mystery.

I completely recommend it, just be prepared to read. It's subtitled. :9:
