Synth? Thats a keyboard. It is a saw tooth lead tone. And as a matter of fact, damn near every single melodic death metal band has one. Norther, Wintersun, Bodom etc. You might want to get your facts together more before you try and talk about a subject.

Synth = keyboard w/e... You are the one who does not have his facts straight about melodic death metal. No good melodeath bands use keyboards extensively. Death metal is not death metal if there is a keyboard involved. You also brought up Norther and Children of Bodom as example bands. You fail.

I don't have anything keyboards in general, in black metal they are almost required. But they should stay away from the realms of death metal. I can stand when it's very subtle and infrequent. But the shit you posted might as well have been Linkin' Park.
