I'm curious, though I know the vast majority use PCs here at Boss, is it even possible to use our vent channel on a mac computer? I know on a lot of servers it isn't possible and I'm pretty sure it isn't possible on Boss too, but if so, is there a way to get around that. I'm pretty sure at least a few people use macs so I was wondering if they just don't use vent or whatever.

I would take a wild guess and say they use the OS X client.... See Downloads page

Vent for OS X only supports the Speex client because Macs are fail.

BoSS vent uses the GSM client because it sounds considerably better.

Besides, nobody uses Macs in the first place, let alone for gaming, so it's irrelevant.

well. you see i have a mac, and i use it for school, hence i am a film production major, and yes they do have vent for mac, but i have no need to put it on it, nor do i have any need to put css on my mac book pro because of my "suitable" PC. but i bet the BoSS vent would work im just not willing to try it

No it doesn't. I have tried it on a Mac, my bro has a mac and my mom has one for work. There IS a Vent for Macs, I was just talking about Boss's specific server which doesn't work for Macs. That makes sense Chris thanks. I was mainly asking if there was a way around that so you could use the Boss server on Mac.

My iMac runs both OS X and Windows natively. So I can game (and with better results than my old comp).

Yeah that's what I thought. Thanks man, I know Macs are stupid, but I hope they update that sometime so Macs can be a little less stupid.
