I had a sinking feeling the sox were gonna pull it off. Painful as it is to say they will probably win the series too, I dont see the Rockies doing a damn thing-sorry the national league sucks.

As for the yanks, they should have gotten rid of Torre 5 years ago. Hopefully a-rod will leave town too. Get rid of those old timers on the pitching staff and we should be ok for next year. The yanks have the best young arms in baseball. (hughes, Joba, Ian kennedy, Humberto Sanchez, etc.)

The worst thing is, the patriots will probably win the super bowl too.

A yankee fan is new england is an anomaly. I'll be eating sh*t for the next year I can see it coming.
Oh well hockey is the only real sport anyway I'll be watching that sh*t on Versus all winter long.

BTW I came across a 2500 piece sports card collection its about 1900 baseball, 500 piece basketball, and about 100 pieces of hockey, from 1983- present. If you need any cards to add to your collection let me know before I liquidate them. I have 2 nice gretzky Team Canada cards from 1993 upper deck and also a lindros from the same year. Also a 2006 upper deck Sidney Crosby.

Seriously, when you spend over $180 million a year for salaries and the league average is about half of that, you better be f*cking winning concise victories against everybody, not having to come back in a series to beat a team that hasn't won a world series since 1920. So in short, f*ck the Sox and the Yankees (Whose salary cap is larger than Boston's). I hope their planes wreck and they die in a jet fueled oven.
