If I was in college, or still living with roomies, I would definately get a console. Sports and fighting games are great if you live with a couple of guys, or just want to get wasted on a random day. Currently, I can hide in my little cubbie hole and game on the PC. Noway a console would fly in my house. My wife would sh*t if she saw me gaming on our plasma in the front room.

Prolly a good thing, Plasma's are the worst when it comes to gaming there the only new technology subject to burn-in...thats why I'm going DLP

Yup, DLP is good. You can get a great TV for a good price. I didn't have room(need a space 18 inches deep) so I had to go plasma. It does kick some ass with HD but I get it ghosts really bad with a console game on it.

who needs a console, i would get one if it could surpass my pc, ill read the reviews before i buy a 360 or the ps3.
I will probablly hold out for a PS3 because im poor and the only colsole game ive like in the last 2 years is God of War.
PC games are easier to nagiate and the look good on my Song Xbrite 19" LCD.
I got a 56" Sony LDC Television that rocks as well, but the colsole games just dont do it for me.

I beg to differ my friend...racing games are much better on a computer if you have the right equiptment(steering wheel, trust me I play a racing game online all the time
)

I own ps and ps2, so ill just probably follow the tradition of Ps... if ill have money that is.
Edit: Although, im probably not getting it right away. Im not spending a sh*tload of money on something i wont be able to use as much, since i have absolutely no time.
