Hahaha, yeah, that's always a good laugh.
Well, to update, I think I'm going to bit the bullet. I REALLY, really, didn't want to touch my savings if I didn't have to. But I don't think I could last 2 months until I get my tax refund. So I'm going to be delving a large chunk from my personal savings to buy a new computer. I'm pretty much set on this build here.
Motherboard
Processor
Raptor hard drive
500gb Storage SATA drive
Combo drive x2
Video card (Something decent to hold me over till directx10 cards are established.)
RAM
CPU Fan
GPU Fan
I'm getting the hard drives from Best buy, I can get the same 500 gb and upgrade from a 74 gb to a 150 gb raptor for $100 less then newegg. And both are new, no OEM.
And still in decision, but I'm probably getting this full tower case.
Going to cost me nearly $2000, but this is what I planned to spend on it anyway. Just I'll be paying with my savings and not with my refund. (Yes, I do know for a fact my refund will be decent. I made less then $9500, I'm a full time student, and I bought a new car this year. Meaning I get basically all my fed and state taxes back, along with just about all the sales tax off my car.)
Maybe I'll go with that Newegg deferred payment plan, or hell, just get a newegg prefered account. I spend so much money there anyway.

not cheap out on the power supply with all that sh*t either zeke.. you prolly know that alrdy but didnt see one you planned on buying.
My mistake. I forgot to post it, swore I did though.
Here's the PSU, Shadow recommended it. Modular cables, great cooling, and he's never had an issue with it.
And Aziz, I've been planning on this new computer since the start of December, I've just been comparing products and prices since then, that and changed my mind on a few parts.

That ram is real nice stuff too, especially for the price, good choice. Good cooling choices. Never really heard too much about the Aerocool PSU's, Id prob get an Enermax Liberty or a Seasonic, but it shouldnt be a problem. The case looks well built, a little meh for me, but thats just my tastes, nothin wrong with it.
If you want to save a few bucks, get a E6400 instead of the E6600, the extra 2M cache dosent make a huge diffrence, and you can just OC that proc to teh same speed or higher easily with that setup. Let me know how that Asus 650i works out, Im lookin at that for a possible upgrade in a few months. Anyways good luck
EDIT: Oh yeah your video card link dosent work

The video card before was the same, but an open box item. Which would have saved me $60-$70.
As for the hard drive, I'll stick to WD. All my hard drives have been WD and I've never had a problem with them. The one time I used Seagate the damned thing died on me in 4 months. And the Seagates wont be cheaper, after shipping and taxes it will cost more, even with the rebate, then it would for me to go down to Best Buy and pick up the 500gb WD for $160.

I know you said you wanted to wait for the directx10 cards but you spend a extra 30 and have a 8800gts think of it as a directx9 card there's no games that have direct x 10 anyway. But if i were spending 339.00 on a 1950... id go a extra 30 get the evga 8800gts the numbers dont lie..

Shadow said some great things about the PSU, so, I hope it works out alright, if not I have my 500 watt from my old computer I can use as a backup.
