I am getting really bored of WoW, BC content destroys the WoW idea and Blizzard is a bunch of money wh*res that piss me the f*ck off. Anyways, I've already plays GW and CoV and was not impressed. Anyone got any suggestions?

Pretty much. I want to see how that Age of Conan and Star Trek MMO turn out.

I tried LOTR: Shadows of Angmar when they had a free stress test weekend, it was pretty cool. Graphics are pretty nice, although not near the quality of Guild Wars graphics. Might be worth checking out.

I've been looking for quite a while. The only thing that seems appealing is Vanguard but I can't really tell being that is has only been out for a few months.

Shadow I hear where you are coming from. i played EQ1 for many years and then I went to EQ2 when it started but I didn't care for it so i then went to WoW. WoW got very boring on the high end and I didn't have the time to devote to it like I used to. I then went back to EQ2 and man its great. the game is better than when it came out. the crafting is better than WoW. the broker a.k.a. the auction house is much better than WoW. there are also so many quests. When you start alts you aren't doing the same quests again. its only when you get higer in levels do you start to do some of the same quest. the quest journal holds 100 quests and since I started the game I have been under 80 quest yet, hehe.


I happen to enjoy EQ2 alot so FU all the poeple that are going to flame and not say anything worth while.

I've heard alot of good things about LOTR's mmo..
I reckon i'm gonna give that a go when it comes out.

Really there is nothing out at the moment that is just too super good. As far as PvE content goes, WoW is about the best you can do right now, sad to say.

I'm more interested in heavy PvP content, and if you're a PvP fan at all I suggest you check out the new Warhammer Online game that is coming out (hopefully) later this year.

I've been following the game religiously for the last few months, and it's gonna be freakin' uber sweet.

Vanguard... Meh.. It's really fun, at first.... But it gets old quickly, and it's not doing so well for itself. I wouldn't recommend it, especially if you actually enjoy having a life outside of your MMO. Vanguard demands A LOT of your time to really get somewhere in, like the original EQ did. If you get into it, you better make sure you're willing to be there for the long haul.

On a side note, I actually enjoy CoV... It may not the be the "best" thing out there right now, but it's unique and coming up with power/costume combinations is pretty damned fun.
