very beginning was good...then it turned into some reallly cheesy emo crying complaining whining stuff for a good 1hour and half++...then the very last ending battle sh*t was alright

this movie was a huge drag, the plot deveopment took forever and there was way too much cheesy winey gay shit in it. It may not be as bad as i really think but in my mind this movie should have been epic. They didn't even follow te comic book worth a shit. idk who the sand man was cause i don't remeber him from the comics i do however remember the shocker and that is who should have been in it.


so not worth paying for.


If 4 comes out it should have carnage venom and shocker in it and if they fuck up a movie with those villans they should be shot.

all in all i was very dissapointed

Well...I'm 56.3% of the way to "buying" my "tickets" (I was going to go to the theater for this one, but after all these comments I didn't really want to pay for it). Once I get home from work I'll add my thoughts about it.

As Billy said, it's not worth paying for, but it might just be worth the download if you care to see the movie.

I didn't think that Peter Parker ever became "emo", though. I mean, when was the last time you saw an emo faggot dance to jazz music (or dance at all for that matter)? He became more like an asshole in a black suit. Either way, those scenes were totally gay. There's not even close to the amount of the real Venom I wanted to see in this movie. It's just generally bland. I'd download it (apparently ), but I wouldn't waste to cash to see it in theaters.

gooing to watch it tomarrow, i didn't read any of the spoilers and shadow just gave me a broad reason why it sucked.

without seeing it IMO this movie is proably a set up tp spiderman 4. i know alot of you are too young to have kept up with the comic or the cartoon but venom was never the "badass" villan it was always CARNAGE and he should be in the fourth one. Carnage was probably one of the evilest, most badass villans ever vreated in a comic book series so if tey do make spiderman 4 you should all go check it out.

i agree with billy if they followed the original story lined it would kicked ass.i did like the movie but of course there is much better movies out there. it is a kids movie fuk it

It was an ok movie. I think one of the reasons why everyone's hating on it is because we all had our expectations set so high. Which I dont blame anyone for doing so. The first 2 were good movies in my opinion. So in that sense it was a let down. The second reason is because of that fact that it had a lot of bad guys in it. Can we say too much? Sure it was an interesting fight scene, but with everyone being bad, then turning good, then crying about their lil girl or MJ or their father, was just tooooo much. If you think about the "emo" scene, it's there for comedy mostly(and character development), kinda like in the second movie where he loses his powers and becomes a nerd again which was funny. I do think they went a lil over board with those scene though. It seemed like the director was trying a lil to hard. The main reason why it wasnt so good was because there was no real plot. This was kinda like a filler movie. It was all character development, so there was no real reason I felt to want to keep watching. I dont follow the comic books so I'm not mad at the fact that it didnt follow the comics.

So my advice, if you want to see it, lower your expectations of it or else I promise you, you probably be disapointed.
Other than that I give it somewhere around a 6 or 7 out of 10

yea old thread but i never posted my opinion on the movie:

HOLY sh*t! what a f*ckin dissaster. I can honestly say that the act-cool-cause-your-venom-scene was probably the worst scene i have ever seen in any movie. Luckily i was watching the "bought" version so i just had to stop the movie and come back to it later. The only other thing i remember is that they did a horrible job on venom as well, he should had been way more badass.
