Well now that we have it at a reasonable price, it just needs to be compatible with all teh networks!!

The 8-gigabyte iPhone, once $599, was cut to $399. The 4-gigabyte model, formerly $499, was discontinued, and will sell for $299 until stocks are gone.

Also introduced was the iPod touch, the HUEG (as in hard drive capacity) iPod classic, the video playing iPod nano, and the iPod Shuffle, now with even gayer colors.

Basically with the iPod touch, Apple took the iPhone, made it a little bit smaller in height, removed the phone part, and is selling it for $100 cheaper.

Whatever, I still like the iPod and the iPhone is slowly getting better, I just feel bad for the people who already paid $500-$600 for it.

Touch it

Thoughts?

Like you said, all they need to do now is make it more openly available to all networks now.
As for the iPodtouch.. I'm not a very big fan of it. It sports a very tiny hard drive compared to the much larger hard drives of the already nifty Video iPods.
I don't feel it's worth it, and would make it much more of a hassle.
It's already hard enough to scroll using the click wheel, ever after using it for 3 years I still overshoot what I'm looking for.
That's why I'm waiting for a newer Zune Model. 8D

Well the iphone price cut makes sense, but the itouch is just plain ridiculous. Yay lets pay just as much for way less storage space. No thanks.

Ohh yeah $100 back to early adopters, they didnt have to but it sure was nice of apple to do this.

Damn it Aziz i have been asking about you. get on aim more often... or use teh old name.

I think the only argument against it now is if you dont want to move to ATT. Its still without a doubt the best phone on the market imho.

I was upset to have to move to AT&T, but I will live. There are so few options for wireless providers, you might as well get a national network...

And Sprint, Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T all suck, so it's a lose lose in terms of networks.

That's a good price. I'm surprised more people aren't harping on how little of memory it gets. It makes sense to get rid of 4 GB. A nano holds that much. I think if you want to get something that nice and expensive, you want to have it hold a lot more space. As for the service, I agree. I don't mind that it's only on AT&T (this coming from a kid who's never owned his own cell phone or anything other than a Tracfone) but the service needs to come down in price. It's ridiculously high in my opinion.
